Geoff Keighley was a subject of a buzz earlier this month when the celebrity figure was spotted hanging out with Bethesda’s elites prior to hosting a major gaming event. This has led Fallout fans, in particular, speculating that Geoff could be plotting the announcement of Fallout 4.
Well, that has failed to happen at the event and now, Geoff has gone public to explain why. In an Ask-Me-Anything at Reddit yesterday, the lad revealed that the timing is simply not right for Bethesda.
Geoff added that there were also plans on announcing something big at the recent The Game Awards but the move was snubbed by Bethesda, which yet again believes that timing is not right.
Now that the above is clarified, there is no need for an internet backlash aimed at Bethesda. Instead, fans should be pleased as there were some plans going on involving Fallout 4. Since the timing is not right, it could be possible that Fallout 4 is already in development but is pending an announcement.
