Despite having a large following here in the west, Square Enix never seems to be taking their Dragon Quest fans here in the west seriously but it looks like they are finally doing something about it.
According to Square Enix, Noriyoshi Fujimoto, the producer of the game said that Accessibility is important and also talked about how the game is not well known in the west but added that fans that pick up the game now will be surprise by the progress they have made with it.
We know that Square Enix plans to release the Dragon Quest XI on Nintendo Switch March next year. The game will also be release for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo 3DS. Our only hope now is that they make localization their main priority right now.
Do you think the Dragon Quest series still has a future here in the West or should they not even bother?
