We were all hoping that the Dead Island sequel would make an appearance at E3 this year but we all know that that did not happen. It was originally scheduled to be released in 2016 but so far, there seems to be no indication that the game would be ready this year.
We understand and that since Sumo Digital has taken over the game this year, they would need some time to get things going and that could be the reason why there is so little information about the game right now.
Fans started to get worried after the game was removed from the Steam search engine but it looks like the game is still well and alive. Deep Silver confirm on Twitter that they are still working on the game and that they will have more information about the game “at the later stage”. We don’t know when that will be but at least we know that they have not killed off the game.
