Since it is the Bugatti Veyron’s replacement, it made sense that Bugatti would want the to make it clear that the new Bugatti Chiron is a step up from the Bugatti Veyron.
The Bugatti Veyron currently holds the top speed record of 268mph but Bugatti is looking to challenge that record with their new Bugatti Chiron. The current Bugatti Chiron is powered by a W16 8-liter engine that will be delivering about 1479hp and 16,600 of torque.
While we still do not know if the Bugatti Chiron will be able to do it or not, Bugatti seems pretty confident that their new Bugatti will be able to beat the previous record, The new Bugatti Chiron is 300hp more powerful than the Veyron after all.
Bugatti will only be releasing 500 units of the new Bugatti Chiron and as of now, about 200units have already been purchase.
