The Audi R8 is one of the nest sports cars in the market but the Mercedes AMG GT S is no easy rival either The guys over at AutoExpress decided to put these two models together to see which of them is the better drag racer.
The Audi R8 will be powered by a 5.2 liter V10 engine that will be offering about 533hp. The engine will be mated to a seven-speed dual-clitch transmission. The Mercedes-AMG GT S, on the other hand, will come powered by a 510hp engine that will be mated to a seven-speed dual clutch.
The Audi R8 is not only an all-wheel drive model but it is also 55kg lighter than the Mercedes-AMG GT S. Pair that with all that extra pony and it looks like the Audi R8 will be the clear winner here but did that happen on the track?
