With all that has happened with the Note 7, some people believe that Samsung might stop the Note Series all together. If that happens, those looking for a premium large display device has one less device to choose from now on but it looks like Apple is looking to help fill in the gap with a phablet of their own.
Apple currently offers a device with a 4.7inch display as well as a device with a 5.5inch display but according to DigiTimes, the next Apple iPhone 8 will also come with a 5.8inch model.
It is said that the 5.8inch model will be sporting the AMOLED display from Samsung and that it will be the only Apple iPhone 8 with the Samsung display. There were also talk about the device possibly being a curved screen device.
Many believe that next year will be a huge year for the iPhone as Apple plans to give it a huge upgrade but whether this will be included in the upgrade is a whole other matter. What do you think?
