Apple Car is an exclusive insurance meant for Apple products. However, we find it a waste of money and something every Apple user should avoid at all cost.
Think about it, getting AppleCare cost $99. If consumers are to apply for accidental damage coverage, it will mean an addition $79 being added to the initial fee and this total up to $178.
Now, say for example you broke your iPhone’s screen. Apple Care will fully waive the repair fee. In other words, you had just forked out $178 for your broken screen. However, if you broke it for the second time, you will end up paying $257.
This is ridiculous as outside retailer will charge about $200 on average for a one-time repair. It makes Apple Care sounds totally overpriced and not worth its purpose.
Hence, this confirms that Apple Care is simply a waste of time and money. Instead of paying so much for a premium, you should splurge on a second-hand iPhone to function as a backup device.
