Volvo is currently working on an all-new Volvo XC60 model that will be coming in to sit between the new Volvo XC90 and the Volvo XC40.
Spies have already spotted the Volvo XC60 getting tested in Amsterdam. Although the vehicle will be heavily covered in camo stickers and padding but it is believed that the new XC60 will be getting a new design based on the XC90 model which will most likely include the T-shaped LED headlight, as well as the new front grille.
The Volvo XC60 will also be riding on the new SPA platform, the same platform that is currently under the S90, V90 as well as the new XC90. The prototype seems to indicate that the XC60 could also come with a longer body which means more interior space for the passengers.
It was also added that the Volvo XC60 could be running on a 2.0 liter TS turbocharged petrol engine that will be delivering about 254hp and 350Nm of torque.
The 2018 Volvo XC60 should be arriving late next year or early 2018. Watch out Audi.
