Spies have already been spotting the Porsche Cayenne getting tested out in the open. The latest spy shots were taken when Porsche was testing them out in the snow.
Although the vehicle was still covered by tarps and stickers, we can still make out some of the features. Based on what we can see, the new Porsche Cayenne will be coming in with a new design that is based on the Porsche Macan. The Macan is not the only Porsche that the Cayenne is following. Some of the Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo features can also be found on the Cayenne.
It has also been reported that the Porsche Cayenne will be sitting on the MLB platform from Volkswagen. This is the same platform that the Audi Q7 is riding on right now as well. With the platform, the new Cayenne will weight 340 to 440 pounds less.
Besides the standard engine option, it is believed that the 2018 model will also come with a diesel option as well.
