One of the biggest problems that people seems to have with the Mazda CX-5 is the lack of power. It is not struggling to carry its weight but it does not have any extra to offer either and the fans are hoping that the 2018 Mazda CX-5 upgrade would also include a powertrain upgrade.
We do not know if that is going to happen or not but what we do know right now is that Mazda does have an engine that might have to solve the Mazda CX-5 problem. Besides giving the Mazda CX-9 a new design, Mazda also reveals the new engine that the Mazda CX-5 will be coming in with.
According to Mazda, the new engine was designed to be compact enough so that they are able to fit it into the other Mazda models in the market. We do no know if Mazda is going to fit the Mazda CX-5 with the new engine but we are hoping they would.
