Besides the upcoming new Jeep Wrangler, Jeep is also working on a new pickup truck that will be based on the Jeep Wrangler. The Wrangler pickup truck will most likely come just in time to compete with the Ford Ranger which should be heading into production next year but that is not the only Ford that Jeep has to deal with.
Jeep will be giving their Jeep Wrangler an upgrade. According to Jeep, the upcoming Wrangler will be an all-new model. Based on how popular the Wrangler is right now, the new model should be a huge hit but Ford has an even better rival for them.
To take on the Wrangler, Ford has chosen the equally popular Ford Bronco. SUV fans have been asking for Ford to bring the Bronco back for some time now and while rumors about the Bronco making a comeback have been going on for some time, Ford has never really acknowledged it until now.
The Ford Bronco will be based on the Ford Ranger model and will be built alongside the Michigan Assembly Plant. It will be interesting to see if the Wrangler is strong enough to keep the Bronco at bay.
