With Mercedes-Benz pushing out their new Mercedes-Benz S-Class, we all knew that it won’t take long for BMW to response to that.
The people over at Car and Driver have already spotted the BMW 8 Series getting tested out in the open but it was heavily covered in camo stickers. We know that the 8-Series coupe will be based on the BMW 7-Series and will come riding on a modified version o the 7-Series platform.
Based on the images, it is also clear that the 8-Series coupe is now longer which means the back passenger might actually be able to stretch their leg a little further this time around.
The BMW 8-Series should be coming with a twin-turbocharged inline six engine, the twin-turbocharged V8 engine and the twin-turbocharged V12 that the 7-Series has to offer right now.
While some people seems to like what BMW is offering on the outside, others felt that it looked ugly with the huge grille in the front that looks out of place. Check out the rest of spy shots here and tell us what you think.
