The Audi RS5 will be coming with the new biturbo V6 TFSI engine for the first time but it is not the only or the first model to do so. That title belongs to Porsche who fitted the biturbo V6 TFSI engine on their Panamera 4S model.
While the Porsche Panamera 4S might be the first, it is not the best as Audi reveals more detail about what their Audi RS5 and Audi RS4 will be offering when it arrives. With the 2.9 liters V6 engine under the hood, the Audi RS5 and Audi RS4 will be delivering about 450hp and 442lb ft of torque when it arrives.
The Porsche Panamera 4S with the same engine only delivered about 440hp and 407lb ft of torque.
The engine will allow the Audi RS5 to go from 0-60mph in 4 seconds with a top speed of 155mph. Production for the RS5 model will be starting in June this year while the RS4 will only be heading into production in December 2017.
