2017 Toyota Highlander vs GMC Acadia: Who Got It Right

While you probably won’t regret going for any one of these, there can only be one winner at the end of the day. Who do you think it should be, the Toyota Highlander or the GMC Acadia?

The GMC Acadia will be fitted with a 2.5-liter I-4 engine that will be mated to a six-speed auto transmission and will be offering about 194hp and 190lb ft of torque. The Acadia will return about 21mpg in the city and 26mpg on the highway. It will also come with features like a dual skyscape sunroof, 8inch display screen and more.

The Toyota Highlander will be running on a 2.7 liter inline 4 engine that will be offering about 185hp and 184lb ft of torque. Those looking for more can go for the 3.5 liter V6 engine that will be offering about 170hp. The Highlander will return about 20mpg in the city and 25mpg on the highway. It will also be fitted with features like emergency brake assist, dusk sensing headlights, glass breakage sensor and more.
