2017 Subaru WRX vs Ford Focus ST: Fun Without The Pain

The Ford Fiesta ST comes running on a 1.6 liter 4 cylinder engine that will be mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The engine will be delivering about 197hp and 202lb ft of torque and will return about 26mpg in the city and 35mpg on the highway. Safety features that will come as standard features include fog lights, turn signal mirrors, post-collision safety system and dusk-sensing headlights.

The Subaru WRX, on the other hand, comes in with a 2.0 liter Flat 4 engine that will be mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The engine will be delivering about 268hp and 258lb ft of torque and will return about 20mpg in the city and 27mpg on the highway. The base model will come with safety features like emergency braking assist, tire pressure monitoring, DRL, traction control and more.

The Ford Fiesta ST will retail for $21,460 while the Subaru WRX will retail for $26,695.
