From the outside, there is really nothing much to get excited over the foldable roof on the new 2017 Mazda MX-5 RF but after taking a closer look at the mechanism of the hardtop roof, we are really impressed with what Mazda has come out with.
Mazda has just released a new video showing us in detail how the new hardtop roof works on the Mazda MX-5 RF model. It shows how it unlatches itself from the windshield all the way to the end when it is slowly folded neatly into the vehicle and it is clear that Mazda put a lot of effort into making sure everything works seamlessly together.
The 2017 Mazda MX-5 Miata will be coming in with a 2.0 liter four cylinder engine that will be offering about 155hp and 148lb ft of torque. The engine will be mated to a six-speed auto transmission. It will be fitted with features like auto climate control, heated seats and more.
