Since the Mazda MX-5 Miata RF will be coming in as a limited unit model, it does make sense for Mazda to release the Mazda MX-5 Miata RF with a bigger price tag but some fans were not too happy about the huge price jump as they felt like Mazda defeat the purpose of owning a Mazda MX-5 Miata model with the new price tag.
One of the reasons why the Mazda MX-5 Miata was so popular was because it has the performance of a real sports car but without the huge price tag but the same cannot be said about the Mazda MX-5 Miata RF anymore.
We do understand that Mazda did spend a lot trying to get that hard top to happen which means the price hike is justified but some people are saying that they would rather go for another sports car then pay so much for a Mazda.
Despite all the frustration, Mazda still had no problem selling off all their Mazda MX-5 Miata RF. Clearly, there are enough people out there that have no issue with the price tag.
