Jaguar might be late to the SUV party but that does not mean that it will be having a hard time competing with models like the popular Porsche Macan.
In fact, coming in late might have its benefits since Jaguar was able to observe and see what works and what does not before they start working on their new Jaguar F-Pace.
The new Jaguar F-Pace will be coming in with a 2.0-liter I-4 engine that will be mated to an eight-speed ZF electronic auto transmission that will be delivering about 180hp and 318lb ft of torque. The Jaguar F-Pace will also come with safety features like traction control, tire pressure monitor, stability control and more.
The Porsche Macan, on the other hand, will be running on a 2.0-liter engine that will be mated to a seven-speed dual clutch auto transmission. The engine will be delivering about 252hp and will return about 20mpg in the city and 25mpg on the highway.
The Jaguar F-Pace will retail for $40,990 while the Porsche Macan will retail for $47,500.
