2017 Honda Ridgeline: No Love From Truck Fans

The Honda Ridgeline might be the one getting the awards but it will never be getting any love from the truck fans.

While it might come with a bed, the missing off-road feature means that the Honda Ridgeline would never be able to do what models like the Toyota Tacoma are made to do and because of that, the truck fans thinks that it does not deserve to be called a truck.

In all honesty, Honda never wanted the Honda Ridgeline was never made to compete with trucks like the Toyota Tacoma. Honda saw that the consumers need a vehicle with a bigger storage space and decided that the Ridgeline would be the right fit.

Powering the Honda Ridgeline is a 3.5-liter V6 engine that will be mated to a six-speed auto transmission. The engine will be offering about 280hp and 262lb ft of torque and has a towing capacity of 5000lbs. The Ridgeline will return about 18mpg in the city and 25mpg on the highway.
