As amazing as the Honda Pilot is, it looks like it might have just been outshined by its newly upgraded sibling, the Honda Civic. It was previously speculated that the upcoming Honda CR-V might be coming in with a new design that will be based on the Honda Pilot but new reports and spy shots seem to indicate that the Honda CR-V might have chosen the Civic over the Pilot.
The fact is that we won’t even mind if it ended up looking like the Pilot but we can’t deny that fitting the Honda CR-V with the new Honda Civic design is one of the best decision they could ever make for the CR-V.
Based on the spy shots, it looks like the Honda CR-V will be getting a Civic grille, taillight as well as headlights when it arrives. It was also reported that the CR-V will also be riding on the Civic platform.
The new Civic design should give the CR-V and younger vibe which we think is what it needs right now.
The new Honda CR-V should be running on the 1.5 liters VTEC Turbo engine or a 2.0 liter VTEC Turbo engine. We should be seeing it later this year when it makes its debut at the LA Auto Show.
