Based on what we know right now, it does not look like the 2017 Honda CR-V will be getting any more upgrades until the 2018 model arrives. Fans were hoping that a hybrid model will be offered but it does jot look like Honda is planning to do that.
Many believe that Honda would start offering the Honda CR-V hybrid model soon after the hybrid engine was offered by their biggest rival, the Toyota RAV4. It is believed that the RAV4 sales went up drastically when the hybrid model was first introduced.
However, it does not seem like Honda is in any hurry to get the hybrid engine ready for the Honda CR-V. It is believed that the 2018 model might come in with a hybrid engine but we will have to wait and see if that happens.
If Honda continues to ignore their customers demand for a hybrid option, they might lose the little lead they have over the Toyota RAV4 soon.
