Even if a vehicle delivers more than 600hp, it won’t be enough to take down the Ford GT because the Ford GT will have more than just ponies to offer when it arrives.
According to Ford, the Ford GT will be delivering about 600hp when it arrives but they also added that the vehicle will feature the best power-to-weight ratio ever which means the Ford GT will most likely be very light. As nice as that sound, do not expect the Ford GT to be an affordable model.
Despite coming with the EcoBoost engine, the terrible EPA rating on the Ford GT will mean that buyers will have to add a few more thousand to the price for the tax. According to EPA, the Ford GT will be returning about 11mpg in the city and 18mpg on the highway.
The EPA rating puts the Ford GT right beside the Lamborghini Aventador.
