Overall, the Ford F-150 Raptor did benefit from the new engine but not everybody thinks so. Ford F-150 Raptor fans seem to think that the Raptor has lost its voice now that it is fitted with the EcoBoost engine.
While we do agree that the Ford F-150 Raptor does sound a little muted now with the new engine in place, we think that it is a small sacrifice for what we will be getting in return. Thanks to the EcoBoost engine, the Ford F-150 Raptor is now a lot more fuel efficient and also more powerful than before.
We understand that the engine noise played a huge role in what made the Ford F-150 Raptor what it is and that it would never be the same now but maybe it is time for a change.
