We know that the upcoming Ford F-150 will be coming in with a new engine under the hood but it looks like their customers are not really that happy about the upgrade.
According to Ford, the new Ford F-150 will be coming in with a 3.5 liter EcoBoost V6 engine under the hood. The engine will not only deliver more ponies this time but also more torque.
Ford revealed that the new twin-turbocharged v6 engine will be able to deliver about 375hp and 470lb ft of torque when it arrives and will be mated to a 10-speed auto transmission.
Ford have not announced the fuel economy of the engine yet but the fans think that at the end of the day, the new V6 engine fuel economy will be very close to what the V8 naturally aspirated engine will be returning despite Ford’s effort to convince everybody that the new engine is much more efficient.
Well, we can only know for sure when the Ford F-150 arrives this fall.
