Fans have been waiting for Chevrolet to release the Colorado ZR2 model ever since the concept was shown off a few years ago. We know that they are working on it now but there is really not a whole lot of details to work with right now.
Spies have spotted the Colorado ZR2 a few times now but this is the first time we got to see the suspension of the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2. The images were taken by the people over at TrucK Trend.
Based on the images, it is clear that the Colorado ZR2 suspension geometry has bee revised. The upgrade should allow the Colorado ZR2 to have additional wheel travel and higher off-road performance.
GM also pointed out the shocks on the ZR2 will be a four-way adjustment shock which means the wheels will have better control. These updates show that the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 is going to be more than just a more rugged version of the standard Colorado.
