It looks like Chevrolet is not looking to match Tesla’s performance and EV range but they are also looking to match their fast charging time.
Chevrolet was at the Los Angeles Auto Show where they revealed some additional details about their upcoming EV model. One of the things that they reveal was that all dealers that are offering the new Chevrolet Bolt will have to install a minimum of one CCS fast charger.
These charges do not have to be offered to the public but according to Chevrolet, some dealer will install more than one and that the additional chargers will be open for public but whether or not the drivers will have to pay for it is a whole other story.
The Chevrolet Bolt is turning out to be a real game changer in the EV industry and it will be interesting to see if the Bolt manages to threaten the Tesla Model 3 when it arrives.
