The Acura MDX was supposed to come in to compete with the BMW X5 and Audi Q7 but despite all the upgrades that it has been getting, it still feels like the Acura MDX is still far from threatening the BMW X5 and the Audi Q7.
One of the main problems that people seems to have with the Acura MDX is its interior design. Even with the upgrades, the interior design feels dated and old. It also does not help that the Acura MDX still does not come with the Apple CarPlay support and Android Auto support.
While the interior could do with a fresh upgrade, the exterior is still pretty impressive. The vehicle still looks premium and luxurious but whether that is going to be enough to convince people that the Acura MDX is better than the BMW X5 and Audi Q7 is a whole other story.
Under the hood of the 2017 Acura MDX is a 3.5-liter engine that will be offering about 190hp a 167lb ft of torque.
