Especially after the rough start. As good as the Honda Ridgeline is, the consumer was not too impress with the huge price tag and a smaller truck bed that the Ridgeline has to offer. They will need to make it up some other way.
The Honda Ridgeline will be coming in with a 3.5 liter V6 engine that will be mated to a six-speed auto transmission and will return about 21mpg in average. The Ridgeline might be able to match the Tacoma in terms of power and even beat it when it comes to the fuel economy bit the Tacoma does have more torque to offer. The Toyota Tacoma also have a higher capacity of 6800pounds compared to the Honda Ridgeline with a towing capacity of only 5000pounds.
