The 2016 Hyundai Tuscon was taken in by IIHS and even though we were expecting the Hyundai Tuscon to do pretty well, we are still impressed with the results.
In the safety test, the Hyundai Tuscon manage to score a Good rating in the driver small-overlap crash test and passengers small-overlap test making the Hyundai Tuscon the only small SUV to receive that scoring so far.
Besides scoring Good for both those category, the Hyundai Tuscon also managed to score a Good rating for the moderate overlap front, side, roof strength, head restraints and seats as well.
To top it all off the Hyundai Tuscon will also be fitted with safety features like blind spot detection, rear parking sensors, rearview camera, lane change assist, lane departure warning and more.
Thanks to all of that, the Hyundai Tuscon received a Top Safety Pick Plus rating from IIHS. Check out the small-overlap crash test below.
