The newer models might come with more tech and features but we all know that new does not necessarily means better. Sometimes, it is best to get the older model. Not only will it be cheaper when the new model comes out but you might also be getting more from it. If you were to asked to picked between the older 2016 Hyundai Accent and the 2016 Toyota Corolla, which one will you pick?

The 2016 Hyundai Accent will be coming in with a 1.6-liter engine that will be offering about 137hp and 123 lb-ft of torque. The engine will be fitted with a six-speed auto transmission and will return about 26mpg in the city and 37mpg on the highway. The base model will come with safety features like traction control, emergency braking assist, stability control, ABS and more.

The Toyota Corolla, on the other hand, will be powered by a 1.8 litre engine that will be offering about 132hp and 128lb ft of torque. The engine will be mated to a CVT and it will return about 29mpg in the city and 38mpg on the highway. The Corolla will come with safety features like LED headlights, tire pressure monitoring, emergency braking assist, DRL and more.
