Most people would say that now is the right time for Chevrolet to release or work on the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 model but it looks like that is not what Chevrolet thinks as we have not seen any clues that indicate that they are planning to release the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2.
Things got exciting a few years ago when Chevrolet took the covers off the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 Concept. At that time, everybody thought that the concept will end up being a production model but nothing came after the concept.
The Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 concept came in with a 2.8 liter Duramax Turbo diesel four-cylinder engine that will be delivering about 181hp and 368lb ft of torque. The engine was mated to a six-speed transmission but their customers are hoping that the production model will come with an eight-speed auto transmission.
