Come next year, Toyota will launch the new Hilux and it is going to come with tons of improvements from its predecessor. Toyota made their intentions clear as they wish to outsell the Ford F-150 and the market dominator, Chevrolet Colorado.
To do so, Toyota has equipped the next-gen Hilux with a powerful yet efficient engine. We believe it to be either the 2.5L or 3L diesel motor with a third option of a 4L variant.
Design-wise, the Hilux isn’t going to look anything like its predecessor. Toyota has opted to give the Hilux a futuristic design as they feel that the pickup truck is going to be the best in the years to come.
The front portion comes with a large grille that consists of three horizontal bars. The lower bumper comes with a trapezoidal shape that gives the vehicle more aggression.
With a great design and powerful powertrain, the Hilux will surely be a serious threat to the explosive Colorado. Also, the fact that it runs on a diesel engine makes it more efficient than ever.
