2015 Mazda CX-5 Review: Why Is It The Best?

This year is the year of the Mazda. The Japanese carmaker has already won numerous awards for producing great vehicles and among them is the all-new CX-5. The SUV was launched last month and it is already selling like hotcakes on a global scale.

The entry level CX-5 comes with a price tag of $30,030. While that might sound expensive for its class, the vehicle is worth every cent.

The CX-5 is powered by a 2.5L I4 engine that is mated to a 6-speeed automatic. The engine is driven on the AWD architecture which pulls out 184hp and 185lb-fts of torque. The CX-5 gets more impressive as it is able to return a fuel consumption range of 24-30mpg.

Just recently, we compared the CX-5 with the new Honda CR-V and it came in second place after a fierce technical contest. Despite that fact, we still feel that the CX-5 is so much better as it offers a thrilling driving experience which the CR-V couldn’t offer.

The CX-5 is also a beauty as it was designed with Mazda’s new Kodo styling. In short, the SUV is the complete package as it offers a nice balance in power, performance, fun, beauty and more importantly, fuel efficiency. Obviously, the CX-5 is the best vehicle to come from Mazda yet.
