2015 Kia Sorento: What If It Gets Design By An Ex-BMW Employee? [PICS]

The Sorento is regarded as one of the best SUV to come from Kia. This is why the Korean-based company is currently working to produce the next Sorento that will be debuting next year.

Kia has released its first design sketch of the Sorento and it confirms that the vehicle is going to get the styling from the Kia Sportage Inside the vehicle, the Sorento sports a large central stack that houses a dozen buttons to control the sat-nav and infotainment systems and prominent air vents. The Sorento also comes with a gear lever which resembles a lot like a computer mouse.

As for the exterior, the Sorento enjoys a sleeker roofline and angle of windscreen, more sophisticated body surfacing and the refinement of Kia’s latest ‘tiger snout’ nose.

It seems that Kia is going all-out with the Sorento’s design cues. After all, Kia had just paid a fortune to hire the talents of ex-Audi designer. Then again, an independent concept artist has shared his full visualization of the Sorento, if it is to be developed by an ex-BMW designer. The rendition showed a more ferocious looking SUV that comes with that hallmark BMW grille. You can check out the design here.

As for the real Sorento, it will be looking to get unveiled during the Paris Motor Show happening next month. Only then can we truly judge if the Kia Sorento is going to look as good as the reports claimed it to be.
