Mercedes-Benz CEO Reveals Concept Coupe SUV [PICS]

Mercedes might be one of the biggest car manufacturers in the world today but their influence on the SUV market has been nowhere near exemplary. However, this will soon change when Mercedes unveils the Concept Coupe SUV during the Beijing Motor Show.

While that may be a couple of weeks away from now, fans can already see the Concept today. It appears that Mercedes-Benz CEO, Dieter Zetsche, couldn’t hold his excitement and prematurely unveils the concept during the Annual Shareholder’s Meeting in Berlin.

Zetsche revealed that the study will be officially unveiled in just under two weeks from now at Auto China in Beijing,” adding that they “wanted to show you this vehicle today. The Concept Coupe is identified to carry the MLC moniker and will look to compete with the BMW X6.

As for the design, it somewhat resembles the CLA and CLS class. Both classes were blended together to create the Concept Coupe SUV. Of course, these are the only information in hand right now aand more will be revealed when the Beijing Motor Show kicks off in a fortnight’s time.
