Honda will be looking to launch the next Civic Type R next-year and it is tipped to be one of the best performing sports sedans in history. While not much have been revealed by the Japanese carmaker, we can expect the next Type-R to look like its concept.
After all, was already revealed by Honda that the Type-R won’t look anything different to its concept that was unveiled last year. As such we can expect it to be a hatchback with a more aerodynamic sculpture at the front and a bright red paint.
Of course, more details got spilled after 200 Type R owners participated in test driving the upcoming vehicle over at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium. Honda claims that the review were positive and off the charts.
The last thing we know about the Civic Type R is that it is going to be something really fast. This is confirmed to be true as last week, Honda revealed that the vehicle has just completed a test course in the Nurnberg ring and it is touted as the fastest FWD car to have raced on the track.
The Honda Civic Type R will be unveiled in December this year, before being mass-produced in early next year.
