2015 Acura TLX Review: Poor Design, High Expectations

Acura is about to go big in 2015 as they hope to launch their next luxury vehicle, the TLX. The sedan will be the replacement for the TL and TSX in the 2015 MY lineup.

In detail, the TLX will be running on the FWD system, which is powered by the 206hp 2.4 litre 4 cylinder that will have 8-speed automatic transmission. Consumers can also choose the 290hp 3.5 litre V6 engine that has the 9-speed automatic transmission. Word has it that Acura will be offering a third power mill and it is identified as the 3.5 litre SH-AWD and it will offer 290bhp, paired to a 9-speed transmission.

The entry level Acura TLX will be retailing at $30,995. The higher level TLX that comes with the technology package will be selling at $35,025. Following that is the 3.5L FWD which will cost $35,220, or $39,250 if the model is taken with the technology pack. The top of the line SH-AWD cost $41,450 and if taken with the Advanced package, the car will sell for $44,700.

Those who are interested should start reserving the TLX before 7 July. Doing so will entitle them to ATR financing and a $500 gift card that can be spent on accessories.
