2014 Porsche Macan Turbo Review: Simply Too Pricey

The latest Porsche Macan has won many awards for being the best luxury SUV in the market so far. This is not surprising as the Macan offers sports car handling even when it is an SUV. Now, Porsche has released the Macan Turbo, which is built to offer more power.

Unlike the original Macan, the Turbo variant comes with many sporting looking bits, including larger air scoops and quad squared tailpipes. It has a lower seating arrangement, thus giving away a more engaging feel.

Inside the cabin, the Macan Turbo comes with the familiar floating centre console. However, the vehicle comes with so much buttons that controls the many features that comes with the Macan Turbo.

Under the hood, the SUV offers 400bhp along with 550Nm of torque even when it weighs 1.9 tonnes. The Macan Turbo is also super quick as it is able to achieve 0-100km/h in just 4.8 seconds.

The Macan Turbo is obviously powerful and it also handles like a champ. Body rolls are kept at a minimum, and the interior offers the comfort of a lifetime. The SUV is simply the best in class when it comes to driveability.

On the downside of things, the Macan Turbo is something only the rich echelon can afford. The SUV retails from $100k, which is just too costly for the masses.
