As 2012 move on, we are starting to see more Apple iPhone 5 and iPad 3 rumors surface as fans anticipate the launch of the next generation of Apple phones and tablets. The latest rumors suggest that both the iPhone 5 and iPad 3 will support LTE, and now we may have more evidence of this.
AT&T confirms LTE iPhone 5 and iPad 3?
The folks over at PhoneArena managed to get their hands on what is the first 4G LTE micro SIM cards from AT&T. Given that the iPhone and iPad are the main (if not only) devices on the AT&T network to use these micro SIM, we just have seen AT&T inadvertently confirm LTE support in the iPhone 5 and/or iPad 3.
Given that the iPad 3 is rumored to launch first (word on the street points to early March), these set of micro SIM cards are likely for the tablet. However if Apple were in fact set to support 4G LTE on the iPad 3, you can bet that the iPhone 5 would be ready as well.
No further details at this time however we hope to get more intel as the week starts. Until then check out the image below and do sound off in the comments if you think you know what these micro SIM cards could be for if not the iOS devices.
