With all the excitement we had on Monday when the Nokia Lumia 800 in white was announced, the folks over at Nokia simultaneously made a big boo-boo on their Facebook page.
White Nokia Lumia 900 swaps places with Lumia 800 on Nokia Facebook page
For those with a keen eye for detail, it would have been obvious that it wasn’t a white Nokia Lumia 800 press shot that was being used to promote the new Windows Phone 7.5 device but instead a Nokia Lumia 900.
The bigger brother to the Lumia 800 also boasted a sexy white form factor, its 4.3-inch display and a bigger battery than the Lumia 800 under the hood. Given that it features the same design and polycarbonate case as the Lumia 800, it was hard to tell.
The Nokia Lumia 900 is expected to land in the US next month on AT&T but in black. However given that we’ve now seen a white model and know that AT&T’s exclusivity will wear out soon enough, we may see a white Nokia Lumia 800 Windows Phone soon enough.
And in case you’re wondering, yes Nokia has removed the press shot from the Facebook page.
