For customers of Verizon the wait is over as the Samsung Galaxy S3 as it has officially been put on sale. However there is a downside and that is if you want to get your hands on the phone then you may be disappointed unless you hurry. Store managers have said that the handsets have limited availability and they urge those wanting the phone to snap them up, reports MobileNApps.
Verizon Samsung Galaxy S3 officially arrives but buyers will have to wait
Verizon had initially said that the Samsung Galaxy S3 would be in stores on 10th July, but then this was pushed back to the 12th. Those who pre-ordered the phone saw their orders rolling out last week with users reporting on the forums that they had their handsets. Many others are still waiting for theirs.
Meanwhile one of the biggest rivals of Verizon, AT&T are said to be launching a red version of the handset which will be exclusive. AT&T also had a back log for the phone and set it back to 6th July from 21st June. It is thought that the red version of the Samsung Galaxy S3 will be available for them on 15th July.
Verizon are offering their handset on a two year contract and the handset comes in blue or white. The 16GB version is $199 and the 32GB will be $249. The handset comes with 2GB of RAM, a 4.8 inch Super AMOLED screen, 4G LTE and it has a 1.5GHz Snapdragon dual core processor.
