The release date for AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note ICS update should be coming very soon now reports GottaBeMobile. While there has not been any official confirmation of this there are many things that point to it.
AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note ICS release date right around the corner (GBM)
The first of these is that the handset has been out ever since February and devices that were unveiled at the CES 2012 and which were released just a month later are to get the update. The Samsung Galaxy Note is one of the most important devices on AT&T so you would think that they would give it importance when it comes to the update.
Aother reason is that the ICS update is in the making as it has been rolled out to international versions of the device, which suggests that we have been left waiting due to laziness on the part of AT&T. The rollouts came out in May which happens to be the same time that AT&T sightings took place. One of these was of a new ICS ROM leak that was unreleased for the AT&T version of the Note. It was then shown on an AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note during CTIA, so the question is why would they load up the OS software with a new update if it was not even close to being finished?
The third and final point is that T-Mobile is getting ready to announce the Samsung Galaxy Note and possibly this would be on 11th July. The device has also been confirmed to come with ICS preloaded, which is of course the very same update that those on AT&T are waiting for and have been for four months. After all it would be ridiculous to see a phone released that was the same as the one on AT&T with the brand new OS. Not only would it be a kick in the teeth for AT&T but it would be a very big disappointment for all those stuck on contract with the carrier.
