Samsung have unveiled a brand new Galaxy phone that joins the Galaxy S3 as the next-gen of smartphones to come preloaded with the latest Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update. The new handset goes by the name of the Galaxy R Style and it will be available on all of the major carriers within Korea only at this time.

The Samsung Galaxy R Style and Galaxy S3 similarities end there however as it has a smaller 4.3-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen. The phone is powered by a 1.5GHz dual core processor and it comes with a 5-megapixel camera on the back. The handset is packed with features and tech such as Wi-Fi, NFC, T-DBM, mobile TV, GPS and it has 16GB of memory built into the handset. It will run on the latest Android 3.0 i.e. Ice Cream Sandwich.
There is not much difference between this model and the Galaxy S2 other than the camera. Which makes us doubt it will be available outside of Korea since there are similar devices on the market in Europe and the US. The cost of the Galaxy R Style is thought to be 700,000 won which is the equivalent of $594.
On a side note, the Samsung Galaxy S3 is still rumored to hit the US on June 20. No word yet on which US carrier is on board but recent leaks seem to point to a Verizon, Sprint and AT&T version so far. We’ll keep you posted as more develops.
