The model is reported to have last year’s Snapdragon S3 and comes with two cores of 1.5 GHz. HTC have also appeared to have made some changes with the mobile including the fact that it has a back made of plastic. Elsewhere the model has a back that is made out of polycarbonate. It has also been given external memory expansion thanks to the addition of an SD card slot.

The remainder of the specifications seem to be the same. The phone will have a 4.7 inch HD screen of 1280×720 and the rear camera is 8 megapixels while the front camera in 1.3 megapixels. There is 1GB RAM and it comes with 16GB of storage built in. there is support for both the GSM and CDMA networks which means the handset will work anywhere in the world. It also comes with the typical connections for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. At the moment the cost of the handset is unknown and it thought that it will be released around the middle of June. We’re guessing it is going to be slightly cheaper than the HTC One X.

On a side note, HTC appears to be releasing different variants of all their HTC One series handsets around the world. There was even a recent leak of a 1.7GHz dual-core HTC One phone set but nothing else is mentioned at this time. We’ll keep you posted as more develops.
