The Samsung Galaxy S3 was officially unveiled earlier this month, putting an end to further speculations about its specs. However what remained unclear was a firm release date. It was only days after that the May 30th date was confirmed for parts of Europe, while other continents were given ballpark dates (Samsung Galaxy S3 US release date pegged for ‘summer’ only).
Samsung Galaxy S3 release date for some UK pre-order customers now one day early
Now lucky customers in UK who pre-ordered a Samsung Galaxy S3 from Samsung stores directly will be getting their smartphone one day earlier than the official release date. T3 has the scoop:
“We’ve had an overwhelming response from our retail partners and customers alike since announcing the Galaxy S III on 3 May. So we wanted to delight our customers and reward them for pre-ordering by letting them get their hands on the device a day before anyone else,” Simon Stanford, Vice President of Telecommunications and Networks for Samsung UK told T3.
So if you pre-ordered a Samsung Galaxy S3 from the Samsung Westfield Shopping Center then you can grab it at 6pm on May 29th. Other Samsung stores will follow at 7pm.
