AT&T Slashes Samsung Galaxy Note Price, Signals Entry Of Verizon & T-Mobile Variants?

Despite the numerous Android smartphones to be announced and launch after the Samsung Galaxy Note (e.g. HTC One, Samsung Galaxy S3, HTC DROID Incredible 4G LTE, HTC EVO 4G LTE), the Galaxy Note has managed to carve a nice little niche out for itself given that it is the only ‘phablet’ on the market right now.

T-Mobile & Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note rumors rise as AT&T slashes price tag

Continuing to sell strong (over 5 million units sold in the past 5 months and still selling strong), now there’s another reason to jump on the phablet train – a price reduction. AT&T has gone ahead and slashed the price of the Samsung Galaxy Note to $229 with a two year contract.

Now the folk over at MobileBloom speculate that this price reduction may signal the end of AT&T’s exclusivity on the device and that we may see a T-Mobile and Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note roll out very soon (the former has already been spotted in the wild).

Given that the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Premium Suite update for the Samsung Galaxy Note is also right around the corner, this couldn’t have come at a better time. We’ll keep you posted as more develops.
