Samsung Galaxy Note Gets Premium Android 4.0 ICS Update, Brings Stylus Add-Ons & Angry Birds Space Bonus Levels

While the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Samsung Galaxy S2 brought the latest Android 4.0 features like Face Unlock, Snapshot, Android Beam and more, those who opted for a Samsung Galaxy Note are in for additional treats.

Samsung Galaxy Note Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Premium Suite update detailed

The Samsung Galaxy Note will get the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Premium Suite upgrade which means some new S Note feature, a new My Story app that lets you create custom personalized cards with your stylus, and also 30 special “Danger Zone” levels for Angry Birds Space. The latter is only available if unpacked within the 3 month period.

As for when the Samsung Galaxy Note Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update will actually roll out, it still looks scheduled for Q2 2012 which means anytime from next month. If anything like the Samsung Galaxy S2, don’t expect an early announcement from Samsung but just a press release on the day it actually rolls out.

We’ll keep you posted as more develops. On a side note, the next Android update which is rumored to be Android 4.05, is tipped to rollout in April as well, with the Samsung Galaxy Nexus first up.
