With just over 24 hours to go before Apple is expected to officially announce the iPad 3 (or iPad HD as some call it), it comes as no surprise that both carriers and retailers are prepping for what will arguably be the biggest tablet release of 2012.
Verizon iPad 3 (or HD) release teased?
Best Buy for one had already started making room for the iPad 3 by slashing the price tag of the iPad 2 models by $50. Now with less than a day to go before the iPad 3 is unveiled, Verizon Wireless posted a teaser on their website (see below) which simply says, “Something Is Coming. Be among the first to hear the news.”
While Verizon Wireless has been vague in the past with other launches, this one is totally devoid of information. However with the iPad 3 confirmed for tomorrow and Apple being very strict with carriers when it comes to divulging details of upcoming Apple products, all signs point to this teaser being for the iPad and not a DROID (a blue DROID RAZR and the DROID Fighter are rumored to be launching soon as well).
