After the disappointing news from Samsung that the Galaxy S3 would not launch at the Mobile World Congress event on February 26 but would be saved for a later event, comes some good news by way of the folks over at SamMobile via GadgetVenue.
Samsung Galaxy S3 tipped for attending March 15 event
SM has gotten their hands on what appears to be an invite or some form of marketing material for an upcoming Samsung event scheduled for March 15th in Amsterdam (see below). The document states that Samsung plans to unveil their “2012 Line-Up” at the event. Given that we are certain that the Samsung Galaxy S3 will launch this year, we can mark Sammy’s flagship device as attending the event.
Given that the Samsung Galaxy brand has since grown (we just saw two new Samsung Galaxy devices launched today – Galaxy Ace 2 and Galaxy mini 2), we can expect many more surprises at the event as well.
While we will be covering MWC 2012 live, we have no plans to go to Amsterdam (yet) so here’s hoping we get a taste of things to come next week when we are in Barcelona. More on this as it develops.
