GTA 6: Can The Sequel Be Set Offshore?

GTA is one of the best gaming franchises around and Rockstar aims to keep it that way. The latest GTA 5 got a late release and it still managed to snub all the gaming awards. Despite the fact that it is still very new, gamers are starting to look into the future, GTA 6.

Ever since the first GTA title got released, the game’s location has never set foot outside the US. This is due to Rockstar which likes to make fun of American pop culture. Just about everything in the US is controversial and worth a place in GTA.

Despite that fact, GTA is a global gaming success. The fans want to see the future GTA 6 to be located somewhere outside the US for once. The next question is where?

For a start, GTA 6 shouldn’t be in Asia. This is due to the many similar games like Sleeping Dogs, which has already done so. As such, GTA 6 should be in Europe. However, not every European city can host a GTA game.

The Eastern Bloc and Central Europe are too cultural for GTA 6. The best city for the job will definitely be London. For a start, it is English –speaking country and while there are no guns in London, organized crime is certainly there to be made into a game.

GTA 5 boasts such a huge map. As GTA 6 will be on the next-gen, it should do something bigger. Having just London wouldn’t cut it. Perhaps, Rockstar can add in Paris as well.

While it all sounds great, some fans pointed out that it won’t happen. In GTA 4, we saw the game returned to New York. Then there is GTA 5 which returned to San Andreas. GTA 6 will probably make a comeback to Vice City. Of course, maps are getting bigger. As such, there is a chance for Orlando to make an entry as well.

Regardless of the city, GTA 6 will definitely offer plenty more than the already great GTA 5. Fans wouldn’t mind as they know that Rockstar will deliver a great game ahead.
